I'm looking forward to coming to East Bay and with this additional point fund it will make the racing even more exciting" stated Billy Moyer.

Another top driver that has given support to R.A.C.E. is Muscatine IA's Brian Birkhofer. " I'm looking forward to coming to Florida and racing with the NARA DirtCar Series. The point fund is tremendous and to have some of my sponsors involved with that like J&J Steel, JE Pistons, Champ Pans and Manley is awesome" stated Brian while preparing his cars from his shop. Brady Smith a rising star in the dirt late model industry won the 2004 WDRL Series championship and is also excited about coming to East Bay Raceway Park. "Bill has put together a huge program for the racers and I appreciate all his hard work to put this deal together. I'll be at East Bay and looking forward to racing with the NARA DirtCar Series. Racers Alliance Concerning Engines (R.A.C.E.) co-founder Bill Schlieper expressed there motivation behind their organization. "Many of our late model drivers were not going to Florida this year for many reasons and I could not sit by and let them be disgusted with little and no incentives. I believe in the East Bay "Winternationals" and have been a proud participant for over 10 years. I really wanted to help set up a program to give the race teams some incentives and extra money for going to East Bay. In a short time I, along with R.A.C.E., a group of manufacturers, builders and individuals have put together an incredible package exceeding $100,000 of product and cash we can use to help the racers get healthy early this season. At R.A.C.E. we want to allow people to reach their goals, LIVE THEIR DREAMS and MAKE IT HAPPEN through their own efforts and decisions. We want racers to be able to choose quality products they believe to be the best and use them to better their teams and the people around them.

I would like to thank all the people who have contributed to R.A.C.E. for the tremendous contributions and support in order to make this R.A.C.E. "Winternationals" point fund a reality. I also want to give a special thanks to my wife Josie and all our employees at Pro Power Racing for their sacrifices and hard work helping me organize this point fund" stated Bill Schlieper.
